so thursday night the plan was to go to the big c jamboree. i mention the idea to lindsay and she tells me to call her after work. so i do. at first she tells me she is way too deep in homework to even go out and i say all right and i'll talk to you later. 45 minutes later she calls me back telling me she wants to go out. i was very happy. i go pick her up( she looked terriffic) and drive us up to martyr's. we run into mikey c and his girlfriend up there and then more people showed up as well. lindsay actually liked the country and rock-a-billy bands a lot. i was surprised seeing as her favorite band is pearl jam. so we were all having a great time and then martyr's closed. as usual we all headed up to neo, i took lindsay this time. neo was unusually bad. they played like and hour and a half of bad music. all my friends ended up leaving at about 3:30am, she and i stayed only about twenty minutes longer. we left and i had had a good evening. i was just going to drop her off and go home satisfied. i get to her door and she says something about watching a movie and going to sleep on her couch, and then asks if i would like to watch a movie too. i said sure i would and parked my car. she likes comedies; mostly of the stupid humor that guys usually enjoy, we watched old school. i have decided i like vince vaughn a lot. i stayed at her place, we went to sleep after 6:00am. there aren't any nasty details to share, barely anything happened, but the little that did made me a happier man. the gravetones played last night at the lyon's den. it was a really good show. i think i had something of a fan club standing in front of me again last night. despite lack of sleep i felt incredible and rocked out pretty hard. today lindsay and i went up to murphy's in wrigleyville to watch the cub's game. i had a really good time out in an atmosphere i had never experienced before. cubs won by the way. then we walked to the taste and had a lot of good food. i developed a craving for filafil and managed to find a very good filafil pita. i really like that stuff. and soon i will be off to joe's party. i enjoy spending time with this girl quite a bit. she's not like any of the women i come across. i could go on and on. let's just leave it at i like her. she doesn't want anything serious and i am fine with that. it's good just to go new places and do new things with her. and it doesn't hurt that she's very easy on the eyes.
