last night will go down as a very important night in my life for a variety of reasons. i saw garden state and engaged in some intense and exhilerating conversation. i did something before that too. the talk made me feel good. everything i did last night made me feel good. more substantial, a better, more whole person. i couldn't go to sleep after i got home. i walked to the 7-11 on halsted to get a slurpee and still couldn't sleep. i was up until after 4:00am. i had dreams that continued what my emotions had started. no scenes in particular, just the feeling. it was a night i didn't want to end. those are rare and i appreciate them so much when they happen. and i think you're right and put it perfectly: maybe it isn't you, its just us. thank you for that.
