this semester is going to be insane. 500-600 pages of reading a week, two weekly papers. research papers throughout, midterms, finals, regular exams, 30 hours of special ed observation. its going to be a bitch and only get harder. i tend to react well to being busy. i can handle it, i take it all head on. i do not fuck around. and in some strange way i like it. i start to not mind not going out, and just reading or writing. sometimes it is preferable. don't have too much to say, that's usually a sign that i'm not depressed or anything. when i get upset i have too much to say. i found a bunch of old materials from high school in my old room yesterday. pictures from dances i had forgotten i even went to. funny shit from my junior year english class. it made me miss sean rafferty. i got to see jeff m again today, and i even got to drive hids totally sweet 1969 triumph tr-6. yeah, it was cool. danielle's roommate debbie is going to be launching an online zine of sorts and she told me i can publish pretty much anything on it, i already have a short story and an essay submitted to her. once the site is up i'll have the link. i'm looking forward to doing a lot of writing for this. i have also discovered that i like slayer and motorhead a lot. lindsay got me two tickets to motorhead for my birthday(yes my b-day isn't until nov 8, but motorhead is coming on sept 21). she doesn't want to go with me though so she said to take someone who would actually have fun at the show. i'm taking jimmy. it was a hell of a gesture for a girl that doesn't even want to date me. and she's in jersey right now and i will be picking her up from the airport tomorrow night. the Gravetones have two shows this weekend, check thegravetones.com for info if you wanna go. one of the shows is free. i'm going to drive back to Chicago now.
