long story short, here's what happened with the most recent lindsay business: she maintained that it was a bad idea and apologized for leading me on and such. i forgave her and everything. but i realized something. she fucked up. i do forgive her and i am not mad, but this is something that i will never be in a position to suffer from again. my perspective on this situation is fundamentally changed. i'm not going to start talking shit, this is simply it.
i am currently in denver and have just spent x-mas as a Jew with my christian family. in typical middle class fashion nothing was wrong as long as nobody brought anything up. and it turns out nothing was brought up mostly because nobody knows outside of the four of us in my family. i am inclined to feel a little bit like a black sheep or some kind of secret, but i also can't find it enough to be really mad. my grammy took all 12 members of the extended family(yes, we are a small family) to the rockette's x-mas show. they had a long nativity scence(the rockette's actually did not even appear in that segment). my mom was mad when she saw me not clap after that part. what bothered me most about it was that the voice-over said something to the effect of "christmas is for everyone" that's not true, and i think most christians will agree with me on that. i was going to go to see the denver rocky cast tonight, but i have to be up at 5:30am tomorrow to drive half of my family to the airport. i am enjoying myself here. lots and lots of good food, and lots of working out. i went running today. check out www.socialsatellite.com
i have some writing up on there, and it is a fun and actually intellectual online community.
as usual my brother and i are spending a lot of time together and we get a long very well. i have discovered i love a movie called "Wet Hot American Summer". i have watched it three times in a week. MI(rs) T-3
